Trieu Dai commune received the title of commune meeting advanced new rural standards.

Today, December 24, Trieu Dai commune (Trieu Phong district) held a ceremony to receive the title of commune meeting advanced new rural standards (NTM) in 2022. Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong attended.

Trieu Dai commune was recognized as meeting the new rural standards in 2016. After reaching the standards, the locality was determined and made efforts to mobilize all resources to build advanced new rural areas with many creative and effective methods. In which, it focused on implementation from the village and community levels, focusing on difficult criteria; focusing on depth and substance, taking the goal of improving the material and spiritual life and satisfaction of the people as a measure.

Up to now, 100% of the village and inter-village roads have been concreted; the commune currently has 12.6 hectares of organic rice and 10.4 hectares of safe rice in association with Quang Tri Trading Company; there are Banh it la gai products achieving 3-star OCOP, and Abalone mushroom products meeting VietGap standards. The average income per capita in 2022 is 51 million VND/person/year, the multidimensional poverty rate has decreased to 2.13%.

With those results, after 6 years of construction, up to now, Trieu Dai commune has been recognized as a commune meeting advanced NTM standards in 2022, one of the first 9 communes in the province to meet advanced NTM standards.

Speaking at the ceremony, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong emphasized: Trieu Dai commune achieving advanced NTM standards is an important basis for Trieu Phong district to strive to achieve NTM district standards by 2023.

From there, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that Trieu Dai commune, Trieu Phong district should continue to promote propaganda and mobilization work to build new rural areas in order to continuously raise awareness, create consensus, join hands and responsibility of the entire political system and the community. Considering building a model new rural area as a key political task, determined in leadership and direction.

Based on the potential and strengths of the locality, the organization selects the most prominent field to direct the construction of a model new-style rural commune, ensuring that it goes into substance, depth, and creates a difference and unique characteristics of Trieu Dai commune compared to other localities.

Promote restructuring of the agricultural sector, innovate growth models associated with the development of high-tech agriculture, clean agriculture, organic agriculture, and value chain linkage through the role of cooperatives; build concentrated agricultural production areas that meet quality management and traceability standards.
