The price for a shared room is 100,000 VND/person/night, a private room is 800,000 VND/person/night, along with the cost of food and beverage services, bringing a good income for the family.
Currently, the entire Mai Hich commune has 11 households operating community tourism services, mainly in Hich 1, Hich 2, Cha Lang hamlets, with a capacity of 25-30 guests per homestay. In the area, there are 2 high-class resorts with systematic investment, namely Mai Chau Valey Retreat in Hai Son hamlet and Mai Son De Mai Hich in Hich 2 hamlet. The commune is blessed with nature with babbling streams flowing around, fragrant rice fields, people still maintain traditional stilt houses, unique cultural identity with rustic dishes such as stream fish, wild vegetables... so it is always an attractive destination for tourists, especially foreign visitors.
The commune has 9 art troupes serving at homestays. The homestays are linked and create tours and routes with tourist villages in the district such as Buoc village (Xam Khoe commune), Lac village (Chieng Chau commune), Pom Coong village (Mai Chau town) ... to create more attraction, enhance promotion, introduce tourism, people and cultural features of the Thai ethnic group to domestic and international friends.

Currently, the average income per capita of the whole commune reaches 40.8 million VND/year.
