Meeting and exchanging with Lao students on the occasion of the traditional Bunpimay New Year 2025

Representatives of provincial departments, branches and units presented gifts to Lao students on the occasion of the traditional Bunpimay New Year.

Implementing the educational cooperation program with Hua Phan province (Lao People's Democratic Republic), Hoa Binh College of Economics and Technology and Hoa Binh College of Technology have received and trained Lao students since the 2020-2021 school year. Currently, the two schools have 58 Lao students studying. Every year, in addition to taking care of and creating favorable conditions for studying and living, the schools always pay attention to organizing for Lao students to celebrate the traditional New Year.

The meeting and exchange took place in a warm and joyful atmosphere with a special cultural program and many meaningful gifts given to Lao students. The delegates and many students from both schools welcomed the Lao New Year with the traditional wrist-tying ceremony and water-splashing festival.

On this occasion, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association launched the book "Muong people in Don village". The book collects articles, memoirs, short stories, and poems about Don village, Sam Neua town, Hua Phan province (Lao People's Democratic Republic). Through that, it shares about the life, love of land, and love of people of the Muong community in Laos, while contributing to connecting the sentiment of national origin, fostering the solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Laos.
