On July 16, at the headquarters of the Central External Relations Commission, Comrade Le Hoai Trung, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Head of the Central External Relations Commission, warmly received the delegation. Comrade Valaxay Lengsavad congratulated the important achievements Vietnam has made in recent times and believed that under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Vietnamese people will continue to gain many new and greater achievements in the renovation process, successfully implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.
Comrade Valaxay Lengsavad expressed his joy at the increasingly deep and extensive development of the special solidarity between Laos and Vietnam in all fields, emphasizing that the two sides have recently coordinated effectively to implement the agreements between the high-ranking leaders of the two Parties and the two countries, including the good organization of visits by high-ranking leaders of the two Parties and the two countries, especially the recent State visit to Laos by President To Lam. He deeply thanked Vietnam for its great support and assistance to Laos up to now; informed about the recent situation in Laos; and the results of the talks and cooperation between the two Central Foreign Affairs Commissions of the two Parties.
Comrade Le Hoai Trung highly appreciated the leadership of the Party and State, the solidarity of the entire political system, the consensus of all Lao people in socio-economic development, strengthening national defense and security, foreign affairs, Party building and achieving great achievements in all fields. He believed that under the leadership of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the Lao people would continue to gain new and greater achievements, successfully implement the Resolution of the 11th National Party Congress, prepare and successfully organize Party Congresses at all levels towards the 12th National Party Congress; and fulfill the important role of ASEAN and AIPA Chair in 2024.
The two sides expressed their joy and appreciation for the results of cooperation between the two Parties and the two countries, including the important contributions of the two Central External Relations Commissions of the two Parties; affirmed to continue to effectively implement the agreements between the high-ranking leaders of the two Parties and the Cooperation Agreement between the two Commissions, contributing to developing the special solidarity relationship between Vietnam and Laos in an increasingly profound, effective and practical manner, for the benefit of the people of each country, contributing to peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
Before that, the delegation of the Party Central Committee's External Relations Commission led by Comrade Nguyen Minh Tam, Deputy Head of the Commission, had talks with the delegation. The two sides informed each other about the situation of each Party and each country, the Vietnam-Laos relationship as well as cooperation between the two Central External Relations Commissions of the two Parties and a number of issues of mutual concern.
