Dienbien.gov.vn - On the afternoon of March 26, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee held a meeting of the Steering Committee (SC) on science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in the province. Chairing the meeting were comrade Tran Quoc Cuong - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the SC and Deputy Heads of the SC: Mua A Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Le Thanh Do - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Lo Van Phuong - Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

At the conference, the leaders of the Department of Science and Technology reported on the implementation results of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation in the province. In recent times, the province has paid attention to, directed and issued many mechanisms and policies directly and indirectly related to promoting the development of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation. The promotion of the application and development of digital technology, towards comprehensive digital transformation, has been implemented synchronously. Telecommunications infrastructure has gradually transformed into digital infrastructure, an important infrastructure serving digital government, digital economy and digital society. Attention has been paid to the development and use of high-quality human resources and talents to meet the requirements of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation development, in order to build and improve the quality of cadres, civil servants and public employees. At the conference, delegates gave their opinions on the drafts on: Notice of assignment of tasks to members of the Provincial Steering Committee; Implementation status of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthrough in science, technology, innovation and digital transformation of the province; Action program to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthrough in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation; Some urgent science and technology tasks to be led and directed for implementation in 2025.

Concluding the conference, Head of the Steering Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Quoc Cuong highly appreciated the contributions of the members, and assigned the standing agency to directly collect the opinions of the delegates attending the meeting to complete the draft report. The Head of the Steering Committee requested the members to identify the tasks that need to be done immediately, allocate funds to study the province's resource groups; promote key projects; ensure national defense and security, social order and safety; be determined to change the position of Dien Bien, no longer on the list of poor provinces in the country.../.
