Vinataba received the Third Class Labor Medal.

According to Mr. Ho Le Nghia, Party Secretary and Chairman of Vinataba’s Board of Directors, the past four decades have been a period of proud achievements. Vinataba has made great strides in organizational model, science and technology, market and competitive thinking, and growth and growth quality.

These steps have established Vinataba's position and reputation in the industry in Vietnam and the region as it is today.

From a start-up at the time of "the eve of Renovation" with countless shortages, studying, working, and waiting for policies to the accumulation process so that Vinataba can contribute more and more significant value to the state budget and to the lives of workers, in 2024, Vinataba ranked 6th among state-owned corporations and groups in terms of budget contribution.

In addition to production and business activities, Vietnam Tobacco Corporation is always deeply aware of its responsibility to the community. The Corporation has developed raw material growing areas in remote areas, ethnic minority areas, contributing to improving the material life of people in difficult areas, contributing to the effective implementation of Resolution 30a/NQ-CP of the Government on the program to support rapid and sustainable poverty reduction. In addition, there are programs to support the construction of charity houses, provide scholarships for poor students who overcome difficulties, sponsor medical equipment for hospitals and volunteer activities to share with people in remote areas, disadvantaged people...

According to Mr. Nghia, behind each of these achievements are the continuous efforts of generations of leaders and workers, the courage of the proactive on-site export strategy to create foreign currency sources to serve the import of raw materials from abroad, and the creation of a capital provision mechanism for farmers to develop growing areas from the early years of establishment.

In 2025, with the highest political determination and responsibility, Mr. Nghia emphasized that by all solutions, Vietnam Tobacco Corporation will achieve growth rate as directed by the Prime Minister.

Recognizing and honoring the contributions of the Corporation, on this occasion Vinataba was honored to receive the Third Class Labor Medal for the Corporation and a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister.
