On the morning of December 27, in Cao Lanh city, Dong Thap province, Vietnam Rice Company Limited (Vinarice) held a ceremony to celebrate its 5th anniversary, marking the journey of continuous development in the mission of "Connecting the quintessence and enhancing the value of Vietnamese rice".
Vinarice was founded by Vietnam Seed Group (Vinaseed) in 2019 with the strategic goal of building a closed rice value chain and developing the Vietnamese rice brand in the international arena.
Vinarice is headquartered in Thap Muoi district, Dong Thap province, with a total investment of more than 350 billion VND. It is the most modern seed and rice processing center in Vietnam and Southeast Asia with a processing capacity of 50,000 tons of seeds and 100,000 tons of rice per year.
“Vinarice was nurtured and developed in the fertile rice-lotus land of Dong Thap, where the people are simple and the beauty of the South is peaceful, from which Vinarice draws strong development journeys, continuing the goal of providing high-quality rice products, contributing to the sustainable development of Vietnam's agricultural sector.
Vinarice not only provides high-quality rice varieties but also develops sustainable production models, closely connecting farmers and the market," affirmed General Director of Vietnam Rice Company Limited Tran Truong Tan Tai.

After 5 years of establishment, Vinarice has provided 280,000 tons of rice seeds and agricultural products to the market with a set of exclusively distributed rice seed products. The company grew from 490 billion VND in 2020 to more than 1,200 billion VND in 2024, an increase of nearly 2.5 times. Total revenue from 2020-2024 is 3,520 billion VND. Profit reaches 80 billion VND in 2024.
In the Project "Sustainable development of 1 million hectares of high-quality and low-emission rice cultivation associated with green growth in the Mekong Delta", Vinarice joins hands with the Government to act for the community and the environment...
At the celebration, Vinarice received a decision from the People's Committee of Dong Thap province approving the expansion of the factory area by 1.1 hectares at Truong Xuan Industrial Park to develop more agricultural processing factories, especially branded rice products focusing on serving the export market.
The goal by 2030 is for Vinarice to double its current size, becoming the No. 1 enterprise supplying seeds and branded rice in the Mekong Delta. Successfully building a high-quality rice value chain, bringing social forces into the chain, contributing to restructuring the rice industry in the Mekong Delta.
At the same time, Vinarice is determined to develop green and sustainably. Participate in building the brand “Green Rice - Low Emission”, contributing to raising the brand of Vietnamese rice.

Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee Pham Thien Nghia congratulated Vinarice after 5 years of establishment with spectacular success; affirming that Vinarice rice brand is the pride of Dong Thap. The province always accompanies businesses and hopes that all businesses, investors, scientists and the province will focus on developing high-tech and sustainable agriculture.
At the ceremony, Vinarice awarded 20 "Vinaseed Scholarships - Nurturing Talents" to excellent students in Dong Thap province, worth 5,000,000 VND/scholarship.
This is one of Vinarice's annual activities since its inception to encourage the spirit of learning and create opportunities for children to develop.
