Vietnam promotes image in Poland, Czech Republic, Switzerland

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just issued a plan to implement Resolution No. 11/NQ-CP dated January 15, 2025 of the Government on visa exemption under the Tourism Development Stimulus Program in 2025 for citizens of the following countries: Republic of Poland, Czech Republic and Swiss Confederation (from March 1 to December 31 under the framework of the Tourism Development Stimulus Program in 2025).

The implementation plan was issued to contribute to attracting international tourists from the three above-mentioned markets to Vietnam; enhancing the competitiveness of Vietnamese tourism in the international market through preferential policies, convenient entry procedures and unique tourism experience values.

According to this Plan, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism assigned the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism to preside over the development, promulgation and announcement of the Tourism Development Stimulus Program in 2025. In that Program, the Ministry will organize many notable activities such as: Program to introduce Vietnamese tourism destinations in the markets of the Republic of Poland, the Czech Republic and the Swiss Confederation associated with the Tourism Development Stimulus Program in 2025; Organizing the Vietnam Culture - Tourism Week in the Republic of Poland and the Czech Republic to celebrate the 75th anniversary of diplomatic establishment; Communicating the Tourism Development Stimulus Program in 2025...

The plan contributes to implementing Resolution No. 25/NQ-CP dated February 5, 2025 of the Government on growth targets for industries, sectors and localities, ensuring the national growth target in 2025 reaches 8% or more, completing the targets: international tourists reach 22-23 million arrivals; domestic tourists reach 120-130 million arrivals.

At the same time, promote the connection and coordination between localities, tourism businesses and related industries, in order to develop synchronous and attractive tourism products for international tourists; Ensure timely implementation of the Government's direction; close coordination between relevant ministries, departments, sectors and local authorities; the response and active participation of organizations and businesses in aviation, tourism...
