Comrade Duong Hoang Sum, Provincial Party Committee member, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Organizing Committee of the Anniversary Ceremony approved the plan to organize the Anniversary Ceremony.

The ceremony is scheduled to be held on April 28 with the participation of about 1,300 delegates from inside and outside the province. The ceremony includes activities such as offering flowers and incense to commemorate Uncle Ho and the heroic martyrs, a ceremony program and a special art program, and an artistic fireworks display...

Major General Kien Rinh, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department, commented on the work of ensuring safety, security and order during the holiday and the general social security situation before, during and after April 30.

At the meeting, delegates discussed and exchanged contents on the composition of the Organizing Committee, sub-committees, work to ensure safety, security, order, traffic safety, ensuring electricity and water for service, funding for organizing activities; work to mobilize the Youth Union, students, and pupils to attend the ceremony, environmental sanitation work, urban beautification, cleaning of rural flower roads, etc. At the same time, they exchanged about propaganda work, art programs, fireworks display; logistics work, welcoming delegates, etc.

Comrade Tran Vu Phuong, Deputy Director of Tra Vinh Radio and Television Station, discussed the documentary celebrating the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South.

Comrade Tran Van Phuong, Editor-in-Chief of Tra Vinh Newspaper, reported on the preparation of a special issue to celebrate the Anniversary.

Comrade Kien Soc Kha, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, discussed the contents of the plan to organize the Anniversary Ceremony.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Quynh Thien highly appreciated the sense of responsibility of the members who contributed appropriate opinions to the plan and preparation content of the Anniversary Ceremony.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Standing Committee of the Celebration Organizing Committee) to receive comments and coordinate with the Department of Agriculture and Environment to adjust the plan, promptly submit it to the People's Committee for signing and implementation to ensure the time. At the same time, a press conference will be held to inform about the Celebration, and the Organizing Committee and appropriate sub-committees will be completed.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Quynh Thien delivered a concluding speech at the meeting.

Comrade Nguyen Quynh Thien emphasized: The celebration is the largest ever in the province, so the members of the Organizing Committee and sub-committees focused on performing well the assigned tasks, strengthening propaganda work so that people inside and outside the province understand the event. Propagate widely to cadres, party members and people about the historical significance, great stature of the Ho Chi Minh campaign and the resistance war against the American imperialists, liberating the South, and unifying the country of the Vietnamese people. Affirming the close relationship, comradeship, and compatriotism between the Party Committee and the people of the two provinces of Tra Vinh - Thai Binh over 65 years of twinning.

At the same time, it acknowledges and promotes the outstanding achievements over more than 14 years of new rural construction in the province. Thereby, it arouses pride, solidarity, self-reliance and self-improvement among cadres, party members and people, continuing to participate in the implementation of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, contributing to maintaining and improving the quality of criteria in the new period.
