2023 can be considered a year with many cultural and artistic events with 4 main milestones: The anniversary of the birth of 3 famous people of the Nguyen Huy family and receiving the world documentary heritage "Han Nom documents of Truong Luu village" (June 2023); the 55th anniversary of the Dong Loc Victory and the 55th anniversary of the sacrifice of 10 female Youth Volunteer Heroes (July 2023); the 300th anniversary of the birth of La Son Phu Tu Nguyen Thiep (October 2023) and the Elderly Singing Festival in the Northern provinces and cities taking place in Ha Tinh (October 2023).

At the events, the art programs using Vi and Giam melodies and new songs with Vi and Giam melodies really touched people's hearts, effectively recreating the historical and cultural space of the time, highlighting the talent, passion, and great dedication of famous people, the brave fighting spirit and sacrifice of the people of Ha Tinh, and the forces that fought at the heroic Dong Loc T-junction.

These are excerpts from folk operas of Nghe Tinh: "Rang ngoi dat hoc Truong Luu" (written by Meritorious Artist An Ninh), "Phuong vai dem trang" (composed by Quoc Dung with ancient melodies)... The art program "Coi thien Dong Loc - connecting the thousand-year line" has deeply moved tens of thousands of audiences, especially the excerpt from folk opera: "A time and forever" (script: Nguyen Si Dai; folk song adaptation, dubbing and director: Meritorious Artist An Ninh).

For the first time, the image of Mr. Tran Quang Dat - former Vice Chairman of the Ha Tinh Provincial Administrative Committee, a dedicated, responsible, close-knit leader with many initiatives on the battlefield of Dong Loc T-junction and K130 Village was recreated. The reunion between historical witnesses on stage, some still alive, some dead: Hero Nguyen Tien Tuan, Mr. Tran Quang Dat, Hero Uong Xuan Ly and the story of 55 years ago in Dong Loc and Tien Loc, the message to the future through the Vi and Giam melodies made many audiences shed tears, making them more proud of the children of Ha Tinh.

In October 2023, Ha Tinh people will have another opportunity to enjoy the art program "The Scholar of La Son" (script: Meritorious Artist An Ninh) at the 300th anniversary of the birth of La Son Phu Tu Nguyen Thiep. In addition to the opening part sung by singer Dang Thuat using Ca Tru melodies, the rest of the opera uses Vi and Giam melodies, recreating the life of Nguyen Thiep, his virtue, personality and his great contributions to the country's culture and education and in his role as advisor to King Quang Trung.

The above programs are all performed by professional artists such as Dang Thuat, Thu Ha, Tien Hung, Quynh Anh, Thanh Tai, Thanh Quy... and actors of Ha Tinh Traditional Arts Theater. Thanks to innovation in the creative team as well as the work of mixing and arranging music, performing style, investing in scripts, writing lyrics for folk song excerpts, choreography... Ha Tinh Traditional Arts Theater has left deep impressions in the hearts of the audience, conveying the content of the art programs in a bold way. Singers: Huu The, Quang Hung, Thanh Nguyen, Cong Manh... not only sing well but also play the roles of historical figures very well. The team of dancers is "rejuvenated", meeting the quantity and quality, making the art space lively, evocative, and clearly traditional.

An exciting and vibrant atmosphere took place, attracting not only the elderly from all over the countryside but also many people from all walks of life to participate and follow.

The Vi and Giam melodies were sung again, praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the homeland, the country, and the traditions of the elderly. Through the rounds of competition, the Ha Tinh delegation selected an art program called: "The elderly of Hong Lam obey Uncle Ho's teachings" to participate in the Northern regional festival and the national festival. The focus of the program was still the Nghe Tinh folk song suite written by Meritorious Artist Hoang Ba Ngoc with the performance of singers: Thai Bao, Trong Tuan, Thu Huong, Mai Nguyet, Huu Vy, Van Hanh... and the dance group. Amidst the diverse singing voices of many regions with different colors, the Vi and Giam folk songs moved and touched people's hearts. The farewell performance of the Ha Tinh delegation at the provincial, regional and national competitions received a lot of applause and praise.
