Entertainment app VieON launches global version, free first month trial with many benefits.
In order to spread Vietnamese cultural values and meet the entertainment needs of overseas Vietnamese living and studying abroad, VieON - a member of the DatVietVAC Group Holdings entertainment media technology ecosystem - decided to launch VieON Global (global version), with many benefits.
"Now, users can experience pure Vietnamese entertainment content, including movies and TV shows, for free anywhere in the world in the first month," said a platform representative.
VieON application has launched global version.
Before launching the global version, VieON reached overseas Vietnamese in 23 countries, the number of people accessing, enjoying domestic entertainment content and subscribing to VieON every month increased.
Mr. Huynh Long Thuy - Deputy General Director of DatVietVAC Digital Ventures said: "In the first year, we want to reach 30 countries (according to the global population distribution of Vietnam); have 15,000 hours with 80% pure Vietnamese content; reach 50,000 registrations from the international market. In which, North America - where more than 2 million overseas Vietnamese - settle - is the strategic market".
The unit hopes to connect overseas Vietnamese around the world to their roots, especially the young generation growing up abroad. The unit aims to become the top choice for overseas Vietnamese who want to enjoy original content, exclusively for Vietnamese people.
"I hope that Vietnamese digital content products will have a strong presence, so that overseas Vietnamese in any country can access and enjoy Vietnamese movies, music and art. Hopefully, through VieON Global, Vietnamese culture can spread and be recognized and appreciated by international schools," said Mr. Thuy.
He also hopes that bringing Vietnamese digital content products into the global value chain can bring economic benefits to the country's creative industry, thereby promoting the development of the industry, while creating more opportunities for film producers and individuals working in the art field.
