Today, April 25, Chief Inspector of the province Nguyen Tri Kien chaired the regular citizen reception session in April 2024 under the authorization of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Hung. Attending the citizen reception session were leaders of departments and branches; leaders of People's Committees of districts, towns and cities where citizens came to make recommendations and complaints.

At the meeting, 16 citizens came to reflect and make recommendations related to 16 cases, of which 14 cases were petitioned many times, 2 cases were petitioned for the first time. All cases were related to land such as petitions for granting land use right certificates, land allocation according to the petition of the Court, additional land allocation, compensation, site clearance, state management of land, resolving "suspended" planning issues, resolving land disputes, etc.

At the citizen reception, leaders of departments, branches and localities reported in detail the reception and handling process, including 5 cases that were resolved by competent state agencies, but citizens continued to petition and the Provincial Citizen Reception Council refused to receive citizens. The above cases include Ms. Nguyen Thi Lap, in Quarter 3, Ward 1, Quang Tri town; Mr. Nguyen Manh Huong, in Quarter 5, Ward 1, Dong Ha city; Hoang Thi Tan, Hong Thi Thuy, in Quarter 3, An Don ward, Quang Tri town; Ho Van Hoai, in Quarter 3, Trieu Thuong commune, Trieu Phong district; Mai Hong Son, at 85 Nguyen Hue, Quarter 3, Ward 1, Dong Ha city. The remaining cases are being reviewed and handled by competent agencies and local authorities according to the time limit and legal regulations.
Provincial Inspector Nguyen Tri Kien, on behalf of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman, acknowledged the citizens' legitimate petitions and assigned the responsibility of departments, branches and localities to review and coordinate field inspections to advise competent authorities to resolve the petitions, ensure citizens' rights and stabilize the situation.
At the same time, the Department of Justice is requested to direct the Provincial Legal Aid Center to support citizens in exercising their rights to reflect, make recommendations, and make complaints in accordance with the law to protect their legitimate rights.
