Comrade Bui Dinh Long – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee chaired the meeting. Attending were representatives of provincial departments, branches, sectors and units.
Delegates at the meeting discussed the content of the regime and policies in the Resolution regulating special nutrition regimes and some policies to support coaches and high-performance athletes in Nghe An province. Accordingly, in order to motivate, encourage and retain capable, qualified coaches who are dedicated to training young athletes, there needs to be solutions to support coaches in training young football players.
Therefore, the Provincial People's Committee has submitted to the Provincial People's Council a Resolution amending and supplementing Resolution No. 11/2021/NQ-HDND on special nutrition regimes and a number of support policies for coaches and high-performance athletes in Nghe An province.
Specifically, supplementing a special nutritional regimen for coaches and athletes at the commune level and a policy to support coaches in training athletes focusing on youth football is extremely necessary, appropriate and within authority.
At the meeting, delegates and chairmen agreed with the draft resolution submitted by the Department of Culture and Sports.
Regarding the content of naming streets in Vinh city in the 7th phase and naming streets in Quan Hanh town, Nghi Loc district, the localities have developed plans to submit to the Provincial People's Committee. Street names in these two localities are named according to the criteria of famous people, nouns, places, and events.
At the same time, naming is based on the criteria of the scale of the roads. In Vinh city, the scale is from 6m wide, 400m long or more, accordingly, there will be 41 more named roads. In Quan Hanh town, the scale is from 5m wide, 350m long or more, accordingly, there will be 19 named roads.
At the meeting, delegates noted that Vinh city and Nghi Loc district should limit duplication when naming streets to ensure convenience in people's lives.
Regarding the content of the Provincial Ethnic Minority Congress, the delegates emphasized: The 4th Nghe An Provincial and District Ethnic Minority Congress in 2024 aims to continue to summarize and evaluate the achievements and results of ethnic work and ethnic policies in the period of 2019 - 2024, affirming the consistent policy of the Party and State on ethnic issues and great national unity throughout the process of leading the revolution.
At the meeting, members discussed assigning tasks to members of the Steering Committee, establishing subcommittees to assist the Congress, allocating delegates, allocating reward targets, and making gift estimates...
Regarding this content, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long requested the members of the Steering Committee to closely follow the Congress plan, promote a sense of responsibility to contribute to the success of the Congress.
