(QNO) - Nong Son District Party Committee has just held a mid-term review conference to implement the Resolution of the 25th District Party Congress (term 2020 - 2025).
After more than 2 years of implementing the Resolution of the Nong Son District Party Congress, the entire political system from the district to the grassroots level has made efforts, been creative, and gradually overcome difficulties, focusing all resources to both control the epidemic well and actively implement solutions for socio-economic development. The proportion of industry - construction and trade - services increased compared to the beginning of the term. Of which, industry - construction increased by 1.04%, trade - services increased by 0.87%.
Nong Son district has called for and attracted 1 enterprise to invest in the industrial cluster; the land occupancy rate in the industrial cluster is about 18.17%. Infrastructure is increasingly invested synchronously, traffic infrastructure, a number of large-scale, key, breakthrough projects, linking regional development have been started. The total value of trade and services in 2022 reached 510.4 billion VND, an increase of 12.71% over the same period last year, an average annual increase of 5.24%.
Party member development work was focused on, the rate of new party members reached 46.66% compared to the resolution. Party committees and organizations from district to grassroots levels inspected 55 party organizations and 279 party members; supervised 50 party organizations and 187 party members. Total budget revenue reached 1,844 billion VND, an average of 12% higher than the resolution.
Up to now, the total investment capital for new rural construction in the district has reached 84,756 billion VND. On average, each commune has achieved 17.2 new rural criteria (according to the new criteria); achieved 2/9 new rural criteria at the district level. The poverty rate has decreased from 8.63% (in 2020) to 7.83%.
