On the afternoon of August 1, the Vietnamese women's team officially ended their journey at the 2023 World Cup with a 0-7 loss to the Netherlands in the final match of Group E of the 2023 World Cup.
Bich Thuy had an unfortunate miss at the beginning of the match with the Netherlands.
After returning, Huynh Nhu and her teammates were welcomed by VFF leaders at the hotel where they were stationed.
In response to the players' efforts, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Football Federation decided to award a reward of 500 million VND to encourage the team's spirit.
Thus, after 3 matches at the 2023 World Cup, VFF has awarded the Vietnamese women's team a total bonus of 1.8 billion VND.
“It is not just winning the match that you get rewarded. The most important thing is that the efforts of each player and the whole team have been recognized by everyone.
After this tournament, we still have tournaments ahead to lay the foundation for our big goals in the future. Hopefully, we will still be able to participate in the 2027 Women's World Cup.
Through the friendly match with the German women's team, we can see how great the love of our overseas Vietnamese is.
I hope that we will continue to enjoy that atmosphere at the 2027 Women's World Cup. To do so, each of us must work hard.

From those matches, the players can play so well in this tournament.
Hopefully, we will continue to participate in the upcoming Women's World Cup. After this tournament, we still have the task of Asiad and Olympic qualifiers.

At the 2023 World Cup, the Vietnamese women's team played with great effort but failed to create any surprises.
After 3 matches, Huynh Nhu and her teammates did not get any points and ranked last in group E.
