The 2024 Bac Kan Province “Culture and Tourism Week” will take place from April 27 to May 2, 2024 in Bac Kan city and Cho Don, Ba Be, and Na Ri districts, with a series of cultural, sports, tourism, and festival activities imbued with the traditional cultural identity of Bac Kan ethnic groups.
With the theme “Bac Kan, shining with stars”, the performance of the national intangible cultural heritage “Bat dance of the Tay people in Bac Kan province” at the outdoor stage of the Bac Kan Provincial Cultural House Square will have the participation of 1,000 people, including folk artists and local students.
In addition, also at the opening night of April 27, the audience will enjoy a special art program performed by the Provincial Ethnic Art Troupe; visit and experience food and OCOP booths at the Provincial Youth Activity Center and Thanh Nien Street (Bac Kan city).
On the night of April 28, also at the outdoor stage of Bac Kan Provincial Cultural House Square, the audience will enjoy a special program of singing, dancing, and skits performed by People's Artist Xuan Bac and artists from the Vietnam Drama Theater.
On the morning of May 2 (ie March 24 of the lunar calendar), the People's Committee of Na Ri district organized the opening ceremony of the Xuan Duong Love Market Traditional Cultural Festival. Within the framework of the program, in addition to enjoying the performance of a scene recreating the cultural living space of the Nung community in Xuan Duong commune, visitors will have an interesting experience with the love sli singing performances of 100 artisans and actors on the banks of the Bac Sen River, Xuan Duong commune, Na Ri district.
Coming to Cho Don district from April 27 to 30, 2024, readers will be able to participate in traditional sports, unique folk games and especially participate in cultural and culinary spaces at ATK Night Market.
