Bac Kan City (Bac Kan Province) has complex terrain, the water source is far from residential areas, so ensuring safe and economical water supply and reducing loss rate is a big challenge. With the exemplary and pioneering spirit of Party members, Head of the Clean Water Production Operation Team, Bac Kan City Water Supply Plant (Bac Kan Water Supply and Drainage Joint Stock Company) Sai Quoc Huy has had many initiatives, bringing high work efficiency, ensuring clean water for the people.
Mr. Sai Quoc Huy is always loved by his colleagues and respected by his friends. As a pioneer and exemplary party member, Mr. Huy has had many solutions and initiatives, contributing to ensuring safe water supply for customers, minimizing electricity costs, reducing loss rates, and increasing output and revenue for the unit.
Sharing this issue, Mr. Quoc Huy said that due to the specific terrain, clean water sources are often very far from residential areas, so the investment for each clean water supply project in Bac Kan is very high. This is a difficult problem for the budget balance of Bac Kan province. Therefore, the province has advocated integrating and mobilizing many capital sources from different programs to gradually invest in completing the clean water supply network for rural areas. Therefore, in the long term, to ensure water supply for the entire city, it is still necessary to calculate longer-term solutions. In which, taking customers as the center of service is the top priority.
“I have advised the Factory management to publicize the hotline number for people to call when a major incident occurs. With the above solutions, from 2018-2023, the factory's water loss rate has decreased from 22% to 20%. By 2023, the loss rate has decreased from 20% to 18%. Electricity consumption has decreased from 0.66 kw/m3 in 2019 to 0.63 kw/m3 of commercial water in 2020, a difference of 0.03 kw/m3, electricity costs in 2020 decreased by 46 million VND compared to 2019. In 2020, I was recognized by the Chairman and Director of the Company for the grassroots initiative topic in 2020 with the topic "Solutions to improve and enhance the efficiency of water pump operation in clean water production", Mr. Quoc Huy shared.
As a responsible person at work, Mr. Huy always tries to complete the assigned tasks well every day. With the work I am doing, I try to do my best. Thanks to his efforts over many years, Mr. Huy has always been recognized and highly appreciated by the agency's leaders. In his work, he is also dedicated, offering solutions and initiatives to help the Company reduce arising costs. During the working process, if there is any incident that people call to report, he always prioritizes immediate action and calculates the most reasonable materials.
As a party member, it is necessary to set an example and work in an area with a large number of ethnic minorities and difficult economic conditions, but Mr. Huy always has a positive mindset, considering work at the agency as his own family's work. "If everyone works hard and builds, the family will be happy and develop. The same goes for the agency and unit. With a company that specializes in production and business, everyone works and contributes to have a stable job and a stable income, then the agency will be strong. Because of such simple thinking, I do not hesitate to do anything, do not fear difficulties or hardships to complete the task," Mr. Huy shared.
With his efforts, Mr. Sai Quoc Huy, is the only person from Bac Kan province to be recognized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor as an outstanding worker who is a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam in Hanoi on February 16. This is an activity to recognize and honor outstanding workers who are party members in various types of enterprises, have many achievements in labor, production and have contributed to the work of building the Party and building a strong Trade Union organization.
