Candidate fails National Economics University just because he forgot to check his email

Recently, a candidate taking the entrance exam to the National Economics University shared his regretful story of failing to get into the school through the early admission method despite having enough passing scores according to this method.

Accordingly, the candidate registered to take the school entrance exam using a combination of international English certificates and 2024 high school graduation exam scores. However, because he forgot to check his email inbox, this candidate did not follow the school's instructions to enter his high school graduation exam scores and registration number into the admission system on time.

The school even sent a “reminder” email to the candidate before the deadline at 5 p.m. on July 20, but only after the benchmark scores were announced did the candidate discover that he had forgotten to declare his high school graduation exam score. This also meant that he would not be considered for admission using this method.

Vinh Phuc reduces tuition fees by 50% from the 2024-2025 school year

The People's Council of Vinh Phuc province has just issued a Resolution regulating tuition fees for public educational institutions in the area for the 2024-2025 school year.

Accordingly, tuition fees for the next school year will be reduced by up to 50% compared to the tuition fees applied in the 2023-2024 school year.

Specifically, for preschool children in rural and urban areas, tuition fees range from 60,000 VND - 160,000 VND/student/month; preschool children in ethnic minority and mountainous areas have fees from 30,000 VND - 60,000 VND/student/month. ( see details )

Vietnam wins Gold medal at International Physics Olympiad 2024

According to the parents, the child studied at a private kindergarten in Ba Ngoi Ward, Cam Ranh City. On the afternoon of July 24, the family picked the child up from school and brought him home. That evening, the child vomited and became lethargic, so the family took him to Cam Ranh Hospital for emergency treatment. After that, the child was transferred to Khanh Hoa General Hospital for treatment.

As of noon today (July 25), Khanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital continued to transfer the child patient to Ho Chi Minh City in critical condition.
