Vietnam Australia International School welcomes 20th generation of students

From a small campus with 430 students in its first year of establishment, Vietnam Australia International School (VAS) has reached nearly 8,000 students in its 20th year with 6 large campuses; becoming one of the leading bilingual international schools in Ho Chi Minh City. Quality products and strong system development

To serve the different learning orientations and economic conditions of Vietnamese families of the middle class and above, after 20 years of operation, VAS has researched, developed and perfected 3 educational product lines suitable for each specific target group, including the intensive Cambridge English integrated program (CEP), the Cambridge international program integrated program (CAP), and the fully integrated Cambridge international program (CAPI). In which, CAPI is the key competitive product line of VAS with the teaching time of the Cambridge international education program accounting for about 70% - 82% of the total study time. This is an outstandingly high number in the international school system in Ho Chi Minh City.

In addition to developing three learning paths for students and parents to choose from, VAS has also expanded its educational model and provided a cross-level training program from kindergarten to grade 12. Thus, students can have a continuous and stable learning journey throughout 15 years of general education, without having to transfer schools between each level.

The diversity, longevity and quality of the products have attracted many parents to VAS, helping VAS achieve a student growth rate of more than 1,700% after 2 decades, from 430 students in 2004 to nearly 8,000 students in 2024.

In terms of pedagogy, VAS also contributes to improving the overall quality of education of Cambridge schools in the region by becoming a strategic partner of the Cambridge International Examinations Council (CAIE) to establish the Cambridge Teacher Training and Coaching Center (PDQs) in Vietnam. Every year, PDQs organizes professional training courses for hundreds of teachers from VAS and other Cambridge schools in Vietnam and some neighboring countries so that teachers can improve their skills according to Cambridge standards, as well as achieve internationally recognized professional certificates.
