Accordingly, the letter sent by Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thu, Acting Chairwoman of the AISVN International School Council, to parents of students of the school has the following content:

"Not letting everyone down, the AISVN school community: School Board, parents, teachers, staff, old and new staff have worked together to resolve the school's mounting difficulties over the past two months, to ensure that AISVN will reopen as scheduled in January 2025."

In the letter, Ms. Anh Thu said: "At the same time as dealing with problems with state management agencies, debt obligations and large debts so that the school can continue to operate, our school has rebuilt a strong team of teachers and restructured the curriculum for this new school year, submitted to the People's Committee and the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City for approval so that the school year program can be completed within the expected time from January 2025 to August 2025, students can still study fully, without interruption or loss of knowledge during this special school year."

Ms. Thu added: "In order for AISVN to overcome the current difficulties and reopen the school, many supporting resources are needed. However, in our opinion: no resource is stronger than the goal of sending thousands of children to school. The consensus of the community is the source of support for the school to strongly overcome the current difficulties and bring our children back to their beloved school."

The Acting Chairman of the AISVN International School Council informed: "From next week, we will renovate and refurbish facilities, upgrade the information technology system... to prepare for the new school year. At the same time, we will also announce information about the teaching and learning program, survey information to ask parents for opinions on facilities, means of transportation... Update and exchange information between the school and parents and in the community".

Speaking to Thanh Nien Newspaper reporter, an official of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City said that up to now, the Department of Education and Training has not received any documents related to the re-organization of AISVN International School. The Department of Education and Training affirmed that if AISVN International School ensures the regulations, financial conditions, personnel... to be qualified to operate as an educational institution, the Department of Education and Training will grant a license to resume operations.

On July 1, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City implemented the decision to suspend the educational activities of AISVN International School for a period of 12 months.

According to the decision, AISVN International School was suspended because it did not meet the conditions for permission to operate educational activities. Specifically, the school did not have enough financial resources as prescribed to ensure the maintenance and development of educational activities; the number of management staff was not enough to implement educational programs and organize educational activities.
