With Phase 1 invested with 52 million USD and achieving international 5-star QS standards, BUV's campus can meet the needs of 5,500 Vietnamese and international students.

The complex includes 5 complex buildings inspired by famous British castles, including Arundel Castle, Belfast Castle, Cardiff Castle, Dover Castle, Edinburgh Castle.

BUV students at the new campus have lots of green and open space.

Also at the ceremony, BUV received the EDGE Advanced Certification for Phase 2, following the Phase 1 certification in November 2024.

EDGE is an international green building certification developed by IFC - a member of the World Bank. BUV continues to affirm its commitment to sustainable development, being the first university in Vietnam to receive this certificate, aiming to become a pioneer university in reducing carbon emissions to 0 for the operational phase.

The ratio of construction area to landscape area of the campus is only 20%, showing the priority for green and open space, establishing a high-quality learning and working environment. This architectural thinking is also in harmony with the overall vision of Ecopark - the most outstanding sustainable urban area in Asia,

"The event is a new milestone in the vision of positioning BUV as the leading international university in Vietnam and the region," said Professor Raymond Gordon, President and President of BUV.

By 2028, BUV expects to continue expanding phase 3, increasing teaching capacity to 10,000 students, with a total investment expected to reach 165 million USD.

BUV's new campus phase meets the "tripod" of design: Optimizing teaching functions, modernizing technology, and sustainable development.

Within the framework of the event, Professor Wendy Thomson, Principal of the University of London, officially announced the decision to upgrade the cooperative relationship between BUV and the University of London from a group of more than 100 "Recognized Teaching Centers" to a group of a small number of "International Partners" globally of this school.

University of London is the traditional degree-awarding unit of BUV, under the academic direction of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). In the field of Economics and Econometrics, LSE is in the top 7 in the world (THE Rankings 2024), competing with Harvard, MIT and Stanford.

To date, BUV is the first and only university in Vietnam to organize training and award degrees for undergraduate programs of the University of London.
