University of Finance - Marketing enrolls 3 new majors

In 2025, the University of Finance and Marketing will open 3 new majors, but will not increase enrollment targets.

On the morning of January 5, the University of Finance and Marketing announced information on regular university enrollment in 2025.

Open 3 new majors

According to Associate Professor, Dr. Phan Thi Hang Nga - Head of Training Management Department, University of Finance - Marketing, in 2025 the school will open 3 new training majors: auditing, economic management and data science, bringing the total number of majors enrolled at the school to 18.

For many years, the school has trained 15 majors (business administration, marketing, finance - banking, international business, accounting, management information systems, English language, economic mathematics, economic law, financial technology, tourism and travel services management, hotel management, restaurant and food service management, economics, real estate).

Despite opening new majors, the school still maintains the enrollment target for 2025 as in previous years, to improve training quality (the average target for the period 2021-2024 of the school is 4,375 students). The school will announce specific targets for each program and each major later.

This year the school will enroll students in 5 programs: standard program, integrated program, full English program (international orientation), and special orientation program.

Admission by 6 methods, compulsory combination includes math

In 2025, the school plans to enroll students in 6 ways:

Method 1: Direct admission, direct admission and priority admission according to the university admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Method 2: Consider recruiting students with good high school academic results according to 4 criteria:

+ Area 1: High school graduates in 2025 with excellent academic performance in grades 10, 11 and 12.

+ Area 2: High school graduates in 2025 from specialized and gifted schools under the province/city/university with an average score of each subject in the admission combination of grades 10, 11 and 12 from 7.0 points or higher.

+ Area 3: High school graduates in 2025 who won first, second, or third prizes in excellent student competitions, science and technology competitions at the provincial/municipal level or higher, or were members of the school/province/municipal team participating in the national excellent student competition, national science and technology competitions with an average score of each subject in the admission combination of grades 10, 11, and 12 from 6.0 points or higher.

+ Category 4: High school graduates in 2025 with an international English IELTS score of 5.5 or higher (or an equivalent international English certificate), or an English certificate of level 4/6 or higher according to the 6-level foreign language proficiency framework for Vietnam issued by authorized educational institutions that is still valid as of the date the school receives the application for admission, and have good academic performance or higher in grades 10, 11 and 12.

Method 3: Consider high school academic results according to subject groups.

Method 4: Admission based on the results of the 2025 Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam.

Method 5: Admission based on the results of the computer-based university entrance exam (V-SAT) for enrollment in 2025.

Method 6: Admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam according to the general plan of the Ministry of Education and Training.

The school considers any combination of 3 subjects, including at least 1 compulsory subject which is math (not exceeding the number of combinations for admission according to current regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training).

50.5 billion VND for admission scholarships

At the same time, the school also announced scholarships for students admitted to the 2025 enrollment period with a total value of up to 50.5 billion VND.
