On the morning of October 12, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law held the opening ceremony of the 2024-2025 school year, welcoming new students of the 49th course.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc - Deputy Minister of Education and Training - highly appreciated the achievements the school has achieved in recent years.
"To achieve the current reputation, the team of lecturers, staff and students of the school have worked hard and created glorious and proud marks for the country's legal science sector in the renovation period," Mr. Phuc emphasized.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Phuc also suggested that Ho Chi Minh City University of Law should focus on perfecting its organizational structure and developing a team of lecturers to ensure quality and meet new requirements.
Continue to improve training quality associated with expanding training scale and training sectors to meet social needs, in accordance with the school's capacity, following the integration trend.
Promote scientific research, continue to propose and participate in scientific research topics or tasks to study the country's legal issues and provide policy advice.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Law's 3rd campus project is in line with planning
Regarding the project of the third campus of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, built on a total area of about 20 hectares, currently implementing phase 1 with an estimated cost of 700 billion VND, Mr. Phuc especially noted: "The school needs to increase investment in facilities, soon complete the construction of a new training facility in Long Phuoc ward, Thu Duc city and put it into use".
Mr. Duong Ngoc Hai - Standing Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee - also said that the city's leaders have received proposals and recommendations from Ho Chi Minh City University of Law on removing difficulties in the process of implementing the school's project in Long Phuoc Ward, Thu Duc City.
This project is in line with the planning of the eastern education and training center cluster - Thu Duc City, including Ho Chi Minh City National University and some facilities in Thu Duc City.
This cluster of educational centers promises to contribute to becoming a driving force for the development of the eastern region, supporting, interacting, and providing human resources for high-tech zones.
The city is also building and implementing a project to adjust the general construction planning of Ho Chi Minh City until 2040, with a vision to 2060.
"This project is designed to implement the planning of the university education network in Ho Chi Minh City until 2040, with a vision to 2060, helping schools build development strategies and invest in facilities and infrastructure according to international integration requirements.
Therefore, we recommend that school leaders monitor and closely follow these general directions to implement them with the city," said Mr. Hai.

Building Ho Chi Minh City University of Law into a multidisciplinary university
According to Dr. Le Truong Son - Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, last school year the school completed important leadership positions in the administrative apparatus, creating conditions contributing to the stability and development of the school.
The quality of enrollment, training and training management, and scientific research continues to be affirmed. Effectively implement student support activities, innovate teaching methods, and evaluate and test in the direction of improving training quality.
