On June 10 in Beijing, Chinese Defense Minister Li Shangfu received Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Army Narongphan Jitkaewtae.
Here, Minister Li Shangfu stated that China is willing to cooperate with Thailand to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries and promote many cooperative achievements between the two militaries. The Chinese Defense Minister emphasized that China is willing to work with Thailand to maintain stability and ensure long-term security in the Asia-Pacific region.
For his part, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Army Narongphan expressed his appreciation and support for China's important role in contributing to maintaining regional security and stability, and pledged to continue promoting bilateral relations in general and between the two countries' armies in particular.
