On the afternoon of June 14, the Central Organizing Committee held a discussion on mechanisms and policies for discovering, selecting, promoting, assigning, and placing cadres with outstanding abilities and capacities, and young cadres in leadership and management positions at all levels.
In his opening speech, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Nguyen Quang Duong said that, in order to carry out the assigned tasks, the Central Organizing Committee is studying the Project "Mechanisms and policies for discovering, selecting, promoting, arranging and assigning cadres with outstanding qualities and abilities, young cadres to leadership and management positions at all levels", to be submitted to the Politburo in 2023.
According to the Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, this is a difficult project, after initial research there are many issues that need to be discussed and clarified both in theory and practice. Therefore, the Central Organizing Committee organized this discussion with the participation and comments of management leaders, experts with in-depth knowledge, erudition, and rich practical experience on this issue.
The Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee suggested that delegates in different positions and working aspects, with the responsibility of discovering, caring for, and nurturing talents for the country, will make valuable contributions. In particular, clarifying the name, objects, and scope of the project; identification criteria as well as mechanisms and policies related to talents, talented young people...
At the seminar, delegates listened to the exchange and provided a lot of information with a sense of responsibility, with profound, comprehensive and rich content in both theory and practice; going into depth from the project name, scope to specific contents on principles, implementation, talent identification, target grouping, proposed methods and approaches.
The Central Organizing Committee will fully absorb all opinions and synthesize reports to the Standing Secretariat and Head of the Central Organizing Committee.
At the same time, the leaders of the Central Organizing Committee will discuss in detail and report to the competent authority on the implementation and research of the project. During the research process, the Central Organizing Committee hopes to continue to receive the attention, cooperation and contributions of scientists and experts so that the project can achieve its set goals.
