From April 17-19, at the Hoa Lu Ancient Capital National Special Relic Site, the Provincial Cultural Center organized the photo exhibition "Colors of Ninh Binh Heritage and Culture" at the Hoa Lu Festival 2024.
The photo exhibition "Colors of Heritage and Culture of Ninh Binh" introduces to the public 60 beautiful photos by many Ninh Binh photographers about tangible cultural heritages including a system of historical and cultural relics, architectural works such as: King Dinh Tien Hoang Temple, King Le Dai Hanh Temple, Phat Diem Church, Bai Dinh Pagoda, Saint Nguyen Temple... and intangible cultural heritages such as: Hoa Lu Festival, Bai Dinh Pagoda Festival, Thai Vi Temple Festival, Trang An Festival... Traditional craft villages: Ninh Van stone carving, Phuc Loc carpentry, Van Lam embroidery, wine making, sedge mats in Kim Son...
Traditional art forms such as Chau Van singing, Xam singing, Ca Tru singing, Cheo singing. In particular, Xam singing and Cheo singing are famous traditional folk art forms of Ninh Binh.
The photographic works were created by many famous photographers of Ninh Binh over a long period of time. Many of the photographs have high value in content and art, authentically recording the value, cultural beauty, majestic and poetic natural landscapes, architectural works or daily activities and life associated with the natural environment, containing within them stories about the history, culture, ideology, knowledge, customs, beliefs and aesthetics of the people of the ancient capital.
The exhibition helps photography lovers enjoy beautiful photos, while promoting the image of the land, people, culture and history of the ancient capital Hoa Lu to domestic and foreign audiences.
The exhibition "Colors of Ninh Binh Heritage and Culture" is one of the cultural and artistic activities at the Hoa Lu Festival in 2024 and the 1100th anniversary of the birth of Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang (924 - 2024).
