Add the target of developing 240 social housing units by 2025

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee agrees: with regard to the proposed content of the Department of Finance in Submission No. 797/TTr-STC dated March 12, 2025 on adding social housing development indicators to the province's socio -economic development indicators system in 2025 and the following years until 2030.

Assign the Department of Finance to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Construction to advise the Provincial People's Committee to implement additional social housing development targets "Completing 240 social housing units by 2025" into the system of socio-economic development indicators of Ben Tre province in 2025, specifically updating and supplementing this indicator into Appendix III of Plan No. 1312/KH-UBND dated March 4, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee for implementation according to the direction of the Prime Minister in Decision No. 444/QD-TTg dated February 27, 2025.

It is known that in Decision No. 444/QD-TTg on Assigning targets for completing social housing in 2025 and the following years until 2030 for localities to add to the socio-economic development targets. Accordingly, Ben Tre was assigned by the Central Government to complete 4,700 apartments in the period 2025 - 2030. Specifically, 240 apartments will be completed in 2025, 700 in 2026, 820 in 2027, 820 in 2028, 820 in 2029, and 1,300 in 2030.

In general, the number of 4,700 apartments assigned by the Central Government to Ben Tre to implement in the period of 2025 - 2030 is average compared to 13 provinces in the Mekong Delta region. Meanwhile, Long An leads with the Central Government's target of completing 71,200 apartments by 2030, Tra Vinh 27,900 apartments, Tien Giang 7,800 apartments...
