At the ceremony, the Club for Beloved Hoang Sa - Truong Sa awarded 90 scholarships (each worth 1 million VND) to students from disadvantaged fishing families who strive to study well from the three districts of Binh Dai, Thanh Phu and Ba Tri of Ben Tre province. In addition, the organizing committee awarded 3 "Charity Arms" scholarships to 3 students with especially difficult circumstances and excellent academic achievements.
Ms. Truong My Hoa said that the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and the Club for Hoang Sa - Truong Sa have actively mobilized and attracted more benefactors to participate in order to have more funds, helping many students receive scholarships so that they can have the conditions to go to school.
