However, increasing the 8,000Hz polling rate will greatly affect the battery life of the Viper V3 Pro. Accordingly, at 1,000Hz, the mouse provides a battery life of about 95 hours, but when increased to 8,000Hz, the battery life limit will drop to 17 hours. Regardless of the battery life figures, setting the polling rate to a high level will give users a more sensitive experience, thereby giving them a better chance in gaming battles.
