TPBank signs cooperation agreement with NATIF to support capital for technology enterprises

In the current context, due to market fluctuations, financial costs of enterprises have increased quite high, directly affecting the operating efficiency of Vietnamese enterprises.

Vietnamese enterprises need to increase digital innovation, apply technology to the production process, shorten operating procedures, provide highly efficient products at better prices, serving society, the economy, and the people.

Established under Decision No. 1342/QD-TTg dated August 5, 2011 of the Prime Minister with a charter capital of VND 2,000 billion, the National Technology Innovation Fund (International transaction name is National Technology Innovation Foundation, abbreviated as NATIF) is a non-budgetary State financial fund under the Ministry of Science and Technology.

The Fund operates not for profit, performs the functions of preferential loans, interest rate support, loan guarantees and capital support (generally referred to as financial support) for enterprises, organizations and individuals conducting research, application, transfer, innovation and technology improvement.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Tran Van Tung - Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, Chairman of NATIF Fund shared: “We hope that, with a solid technology foundation, TPBank's international standard risk management capabilities combined with the Fund's expertise in science and technology, we will bring the best opportunities to access capital for businesses that are looking to innovate digitally in production and business.

Investing in the right direction and right target will bring the best results, the highest efficiency, realizing the Government's desire with the motto: "Science and technology are the driving force and solution for business development".

Mr. Nguyen Hung - General Director of TPBank spoke at the ceremony.

Mr. Nguyen Hung - General Director of TPBank affirmed the social responsibility and role of TPBank in cooperating with NATIF Fund when not focusing on profit: "We are a typical example of investing in technology to bring about a complete transformation for TPBank. According to the cooperation agreement, the National Technology Innovation Fund (NATIF) will allocate capital to TPBank to lend to businesses to carry out technology transfer, innovation and improvement projects.

TPBank will be completely proactive in appraising businesses and lending capital. The capital used for lending is the capital transferred by NATIF to TPBank according to each specific loan transfer contract signed between the Parties.
