Hanoi reclaims nearly 1,000 square meters of land in Long Bien returned by Him Lam Company
The Hanoi People's Committee has decided to reclaim 986 square meters of land in the auction area of Thach Ban ward, returned by Him Lam Joint Stock Company. In the 2025 land use plan in Long Bien district, the company is still "incubating" many other projects in the locality.
The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued Decision 623/QD-UBND: On the recovery of 986 m2 of land at plot A4 in the auction area of Thach Ban ward, Long Bien district, voluntarily returned by Him Lam Joint Stock Company; assigned to the Long Bien District People's Committee (Land Fund Development Center) to manage and propose a land use plan according to regulations.
According to the decision, the location and boundaries of the land are determined in the adjusted Master Plan Drawing approved by the Long Bien District People's Committee on June 27, 2014. The reason for land recovery is that at the end of 2024, Him Lam Joint Stock Company has a written request to voluntarily return the land to the State according to the provisions of the 2024 Land Law.
The Hanoi People's Committee assigned the above recovered land area to the Long Bien District Land Fund Development Center to contact the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to prepare a land handover dossier according to regulations.

At the same time, Long Bien District People's Committee receives, strictly manages and proposes plans to use the recovered land area according to the provisions of the 2024 Land Law, and reports to competent authorities for consideration and decision.
According to the 2025 land use plan in Long Bien district, Him Lam Company also has a number of other projects in the area. These include a 3,300 m2 high-rise housing project in Thach Ban ward; a social housing area in Thuong Thanh ward and technical infrastructure connection in the area; a golf course project in the auxiliary category of the Him Lam Long Bien eco-villa for rent area in Phuc Dong ward.
Besides Him Lam Company, two other real estate enterprises have also appeared in the land use plan of Long Bien district. They are Gia Quat housing project in Thuong Thanh ward of BIC Vietnam JSC and high-rise housing project in Phuc Dong ward of Thang Long - Vietnam Housing Development Investment JSC.
