Comrade Vo Khanh Hien Hoa, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phan Rang - Thap Cham City, said: As the urban center of the province with a high population density, commercial, service and tourism activities are developing vigorously. Therefore, there are often cases of encroachment on the sidewalks, environmental sanitation, security and order... The City People's Committee has directed functional agencies and localities to strengthen state management and resolve these issues well.

From 2024 to present, the city has organized nearly 600 patrols, detected and handled 8 cases of violations in the fields of land and construction; patrolled, inspected and strictly handled the illegal encroachment of sidewalks and roadsides; effectively prevented and handled the situation of cage farming in the Binh Son sea area; regularly inspected food safety, especially street food establishments, strictly handled violations; collected ungrounded waste, ensuring environmental sanitation in residential areas, especially beaches, tourist areas, park complexes, and the April 16 Monument. Currently, the rate of waste collected in residential areas has reached 99.5%. In addition, associations and organizations: youth union, women's union... actively promote movements to maintain environmental hygiene, plant trees, light up streets, build "5 no, 3 clean" families... attracting a large number of members, union members, youth and people from all walks of life to enthusiastically respond.

Cultural, artistic and sports movements and activities are organized enthusiastically and widely by agencies, units and communes and wards; in particular, in recent times, the City People's Committee has successfully organized many cultural events that not only improve the spiritual life and educate the revolutionary tradition for the people but also contribute significantly to promoting the image and cultural beauty of the locality to tourists from near and far, typically: "Culinary Culture Week associated with sports and tourism activities"; launching a painting campaign on urban infrastructure works, thereby attracting artists to paint 61 murals about life, people and local culture on the fences of Tran Phu Secondary School and Dai Son Primary School; a city-level children's storytelling contest based on summer books; a mass art contest; street music and dance programs every Friday and Saturday evening on the walking street to serve the people and tourists...

With positive solutions, there has been a strong change from awareness to action of all classes of people in innovating and building a cultural and civilized urban lifestyle. Awareness and sense of responsibility of people in living and working according to the law, building a culture of behavior and communication in community life, preserving and promoting the good cultural identity of the nation have been enhanced. Law violations have decreased significantly; urban aesthetics and environmental sanitation have been maintained regularly, helping the appearance of the city become brighter, greener, cleaner, more beautiful and civilized.

Comrade Vo Khanh Hien Hoa added: In addition to the achieved results, the implementation of innovation in cultural and civilized urban lifestyle still has some limitations. The situation of environmental hygiene in tourist areas and sightseeing spots still occurs; the situation of vagrants, beggars, and traders has not been completely resolved; the security and order situation is still complicated...

In the coming time, the city will continue to promote propaganda, mobilize, raise awareness and consciousness for people to practice civilized urban lifestyle. Strengthen inspection and strictly handle violations of urban order, construction order, environmental sanitation, food safety; effectively implement solutions to ensure security, order, social safety... determined to achieve the goal of "3 no and 1 yes" (no trash, no street vendors, no beggars, yes safety). In addition, promote cultural, artistic and sports activities and movements to further improve the spiritual life, healthy cultural environment, habits, and civilized and modern lifestyle for urban residents.
