The method for calculating admission scores to schools is usually as follows: Admission score = Literature exam score + Foreign language exam score + Math exam score + Priority points (if any).

The test score is the sum of the component scores of each question in the test. The test score is calculated on a scale from 0 to 10, with a decimal point of 0.25. The 10th grade exam in Ho Chi Minh City will take place on June 6-7 with three subjects: Math, Literature (120 minutes) and Foreign Language (90 minutes). Candidates who register for specialized and integrated classes will take an additional exam within 150 minutes.
