Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City donates books to Phu Yen students

On the morning of December 13, Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi, Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, visited and attended the inauguration ceremony of "India Corner" at Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted (Tuy Hoa City, Phu Yen).

The "India Corner" bookshelf with 139 books on the history of India's development, Indian culture and the relationship between Vietnam and India. In addition to donating books, the Indian Consul General also donated a set of 2 computers worth nearly 50 million VND to the school's students.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Madan Nohan Sethi hoped that the "India Corner" bookshelf at the school would help students understand more about India. And in the future, Mr. Madan Nohan Sethi hopes that there will be online classes between students of the school and students in India to exchange, share and develop together.

Mr. Huynh Tan Chau, Principal of Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted, expressed his gratitude for the gift Mr. Madan Nohan Sethi gave to the school's students, hoping that this gift will help the students have a general and detailed view of an India rich in culture and history.

On this occasion, students of Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted had the opportunity to exchange and share about how to read books and how to absorb a book effectively with Mr. Madan Nohan Sethi.
