Taking place from October 19 to November 9, 2024, the competition has the participation of 20 teams from communes and wards in Dien Ban town. Each team has 7 members from the community digital technology group.
Prepare carefully
The teams demonstrated their knowledge of administrative reform and digital transformation (PAR) through 4 competitions: Greeting, Digital Creativity, Digital Skills and Digital Acceleration.
In a knockout format, 20 teams compete in 7 qualifying rounds to select 7 first-place teams and 2 second-place teams with the highest scores to participate in the semi-finals; the 3 first-place teams in the semi-finals will win tickets to the annual final (scheduled to take place on November 9).
Mr. Pham Van Ba - Head of the Department of Culture and Information of Dien Ban town said that the propaganda work about the contest was deployed early, so it attracted a lot of people's attention.
"Dien Ban Town uses the same set of questions and competition methods as the provincial competition, but selects basic questions that are close to local reality as well as the working process of officials to suit the district competition," said Mr. Ba.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong - a member of the Dien Ngoc ward competition team said that because the knowledge of administrative reform and digital transformation is very broad, the team met many times to come up with ideas for creating a propaganda video for the Greeting section; at the same time, analyzing the questions and related topics according to the outline to give the most optimal answers.
“Taking on the Digital Innovation competition, presenting a prominent local model in administrative reform and digital transformation, I learned more about related knowledge and regulations to ensure participation” - Ms. Huong shared.
Create a ripple effect
Representing the Dien Nam Trung ward team, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien, presented the “3K” model in the Digital Innovation competition. She said that since applying the “3K” model (no writing - no appointment - no hassle) to administrative procedure settlement, the locality has received a lot of support and consensus from the people.

Thereby, officials and civil servants have proactively improved their information technology skills to meet work requirements. Up to now, the rate of returning results immediately upon receiving documents (qualified) under the authority of the ward level has reached 100%.
“By participating in the contest, besides sharing the effectiveness of the “3K” model, I want to learn more about typical models from other localities to advise the Ward People's Committee on implementation and construction to best serve the people,” said Ms. Hien.
Despite being busy with many jobs and old, Mr. Pham Lai - Head of Triem Trung 2 village (Dien Phuong ward) still actively seeks knowledge about administrative reform and digital transformation to participate in the contest.
He said: "Through the contest, I want to show everyone that, as long as we are determined to learn, older people like me can also use smart devices, get acquainted with digital government, and contribute to building a better provincial administration."
According to Mr. Pham Van Ba, the Organizing Committee chose the contestants as members of the Community Digital Technology Team because in the current period, propaganda work on administrative reform and digital transformation at the grassroots level is very important.
In which, all 900 members of 131 Community Digital Technology Teams in the town play a core role. The competition is an opportunity for members of the Community Digital Technology Teams to improve their knowledge and skills, continuing to be the "extended arm" of the government in the administrative reform and digital transformation of the locality and the province.
