Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor directed all levels of trade unions in the province to organize a peak period to implement the "Union Meal" program, from July 22 to 28.
The program is an activity organized by the grassroots trade union in coordination with the heads of agencies, units, and employers. Through the program, it contributes to creating a peak communication period, celebrating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2024).
From there, attract, gather, and closely connect union members and workers with the trade union organization; effectively carry out the work of caring for the material and spiritual life, aiming to build long-term welfare programs for union members and workers.

Accordingly, union meals are organized with higher food standards than regular shift meals, ensuring food hygiene and safety, contributing to improving the lives and motivating workers.

The value of the meal in the "Union Meal" program = the value of the daily meal + added value from the union's financial resources + added value from other socialized sources (if any).
