On the morning of February 16, the Quang Ngai Association in Hanoi organized a spring meeting with the theme "Love for the homeland - Reaching out together". Former member of the Party Central Committee, former Minister of Transport, former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Nghia Dung; former member of the Party Central Committee, former Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics Le Huu Nghia; National Assembly delegate, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council Dinh Thi Phuong Lan attended the program.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang informed about the socio-economic development situation of the province. 2024 is a year with many difficulties and challenges that have affected the country in general and Quang Ngai in particular in many aspects. In that context, the Party Committee, government, people and business community have promoted the spirit of solidarity, joint efforts, consensus, dynamism, creativity, emulation, and efforts to achieve many outstanding achievements.

Specifically, the province has achieved and exceeded 25/25 socio-economic targets. Economic growth exceeded the set plan; the economic scale (GRDP at current prices) in 2024 reached more than 132.5 trillion VND, up 4.1%; GRDP per capita ranked 2nd out of 14 provinces and cities in the North Central and Central Coast regions. Total social investment capital in 2024 is estimated at nearly 69 trillion VND, up 55% compared to 2023; budget revenue reached more than 30 trillion VND, exceeding the estimate by 18.1%, the 4th consecutive year the province exceeded the budget revenue.

In addition to the efforts of the Party Committee, government, business community and people in the province, there are also active contributions from Quang Ngai compatriots living, studying and working all over the country, including Hanoi. Provincial leaders commended the efforts and sense of responsibility of the Liaison Committee of the Quang Ngai Compatriots Association in Hanoi and acknowledged the valuable contributions of compatriots to their homeland.

2025 is a year of special significance, especially striving to successfully implement the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, aiming to organize Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress. At the same time, in 2025, the province will organize many major celebrations, especially the 80th anniversary of the Ba To Uprising, the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Quang Ngai Province, etc.
