BHG - With the spirit of implementing socio-economic development tasks right from the first days and months of 2025, not allowing the situation of "slowly at the beginning of the year and hastily at the end of the year", the province's economy has achieved many positive results, forecasting signs of positive growth in the final year of implementing the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels.
In 2025, the Provincial People's Committee assigned 36 targets and plans to departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of districts, cities and units to carry out socio-economic development tasks; in which, the product growth rate reached 8%, the State budget revenue reached 3,413 billion VND, the average gross product per capita reached 45 million VND, attracting 3.5 million tourists, the industrial index increased by 15%, the total value of import and export through the border gate reached 500 million USD. In the context of intertwined advantages and difficulties, complicated weather, completing the targets and tasks is very difficult, requiring the entire political system to proactively and actively participate, make strong breakthroughs, remove each "bottleneck", build action programs, specialized plans to deploy effective and appropriate solutions and tasks.

The first month of the year is the time of the Lunar New Year At Ty, commercial activities are bustling, localities have implemented plans to prepare supplies of essential goods, ensuring quality, fully meeting the needs of the people. Market management, food hygiene and safety, the fight against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods have been strengthened. Investment promotion and tourism stimulus activities have been strongly implemented, the province has successfully organized a conference on tourism development, met with businesses, tourism media agencies, thematic exhibition "Ha Giang - Asia's leading regional cultural destination" and welcomed the first visitors to the province.
Thereby, the province's economy has been constantly improving. In January, the state budget revenue reached over 210 billion VND; the number of tourists to the province reached 242,550; total tourism revenue reached over 600 billion VND; total retail sales of goods and service revenue reached over 1,914 billion VND, up 15.65% over the same period; the industrial production index increased by 0.14% over the same period; the general consumer price index of the province increased by 1.83%. Of the 11 groups of consumer goods and services, 10 groups increased compared to the previous month. Agricultural activities continued to improve; the total planting area of winter crops reached over 13,417 hectares, the output of the main crops increased.
Along with that, the total outstanding credit balance is estimated at 31,579 billion VND, an increase of 94 billion VND compared to the end of 2024; 21 enterprises and affiliated units have registered to establish new ones with a total registered capital of 18.3 billion VND. The outstanding results from the first month of the year are an important foundation, a positive signal for a year of expectation, breakthrough, innovation and creativity of the province, striving to successfully complete the socio-economic development goals in 2025 and the entire period of 2020 - 2025.
