The People's Committee of Ha Giang province has just issued Notice No. 3433 to reclaim more than 79,855m2 (nearly 8ha) of commercial and service land leased to FLC Group Joint Stock Company (stock code: FLC) to implement the Mo Neo mountain eco-resort project, Ha Giang city.
The reason for land recovery is that the project has terminated investment activities according to Notice No. 2304 dated October 19, 2022 of the Department of Planning and Investment of Ha Giang province.
"Within 15 days from the date of issuance of this notice, FLC Group is responsible for handling assets on the land in accordance with the law to hand over the land area to the State for management as prescribed. After the above deadline, the People's Committee of Ha Giang province will recover the land in accordance with regulations," the document stated.

Previously, in July 2020, the People's Committee of Ha Giang province decided to grant a Certificate of Land Use Rights and signed a Land Lease Contract on December 4, 2020 to lease the above land area to FLC.
In March 2021, FLC Group held a groundbreaking ceremony for an eco-tourism resort at Mo Neo Mountain, Ha Giang City. The project is located in Mo Neo Mountain, about 1km from the center of Ha Giang City.
