The progress of the province's general inventory of public assets is higher than the national average.

Comrade Nguyen Manh Tuan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee delivered a concluding speech at the meeting.

Delegates listened to the Steering Committee members report on the progress of implementing the inventory of public assets at agencies and units. As of March 28, 2025, 833/833 units under the province's management have registered for inventory, completed the entry of inventory data and sent reports to the synthesis unit, completing the general inventory of the whole province according to Plan No. 89/KH-UBND dated May 10, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee for 10 types of assets subject to inventory under the management of Tuyen Quang province. The province's progress reached 96.97%, higher than the national average of 94.4%.

However, in the implementation process, there are still limitations and problems such as: Inaccuracy in asset usage time; inaccurate asset classification, many units choose the wrong asset group, especially types such as: drilled wells, dug wells, fences; warehouses, tanks, playgrounds, swimming pools; other architectural objects; schools have not classified assets according to regulations on specialized equipment in education; some units choose the wrong asset group between common machinery and specialized machinery; accounting data discrepancies, mismatch between the quantity of assets in accounting books and accounting status; incorrect handling of renovated and upgraded assets, renovation, upgrading, repair are recorded as new assets but the original price is not adjusted...

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuan, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, highly appreciated the efforts of the units in completing the public asset inventory as planned, with the registration and reporting rate reaching 100% for 10 types of assets subject to inventory under the management of Tuyen Quang province. To ensure the implementation of the general inventory of public assets as required and achieving the set goals, the Steering Committee requested agencies and units to continue to review, avoid missing assets, regularly coordinate with superior management agencies to review data on the software; based on the results of the public asset inventory at each unit, errors in accounting must be immediately corrected. For each asset that is not used or used for the wrong purpose, it must be immediately handled according to authority or reported to competent authorities for handling...

The Department of Finance shall preside over and coordinate with departments, branches and localities to guide and urge units to promptly review and correct errors, ensuring completion before the prescribed deadline; be responsible for periodically reporting to the Provincial People's Committee on the progress and results of implementation, as well as proposing solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles.

Emphasizing the importance of public asset inventory in improving the efficiency of state asset management and use, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested units to seriously implement the direction, ensuring the completion of the review and adjustment of data in accordance with requirements and regulations.
