On the afternoon of October 3, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee worked with the Standing Committee and the Party Executive Committee of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (LD-TB&XH) on the situation and results of Party building work and political tasks since the beginning of the 2020-2025 term. Comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation chaired the meeting. Also working were comrades: Nguyen Duc Thanh, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Diep Van Chien, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee; Nguyen Thi Hanh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
The Party Committee of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs has 15 subordinate Party cells with 232 Party members. Since the beginning of the term, the Party Committee of the Department has promptly issued and implemented plans, resolutions, and action programs to concretize the Resolutions, Directives, and directions of higher levels to organize the implementation of annual work tasks. From 2020 to September 2024, 48 Party members have been admitted, reaching 117% of the target set by the Resolution of the Department's Party Congress.
Since the beginning of the term, the Department's Party Committee has seriously implemented political and ideological education for Party members and civil servants in the entire Party Committee. The inspection and supervision programs have been focused and key, creating changes in the awareness of each Party member and Party organization in the new situation. During the time when the whole society was affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, the difficulties of enterprises and economic organizations in the industry were received, grasped and timely solutions were provided by the Department. In particular, recently, the Department has focused on directing its departments and affiliated units to quickly overcome the consequences of storm No. 3; guiding localities to implement social security policies, and advising on raising social allowance standards in the province.
Concluding the working session, comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, highly appreciated the achievements in all aspects of the work of the Party Committee of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs since the beginning of the term. Regarding the tasks in the coming time, he requested the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to review and re-evaluate the quality of human resources, in conjunction with population size, gender balance, and living standards gap to advise the province and build appropriate development policies in conjunction with assigned functions and tasks.
The Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Department focuses on strengthening the work of Party building and rectification in conjunction with the implementation of annual political tasks; regularly, continuously and effectively deploying the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; promptly detecting, preventing and promptly stopping signs of degradation in ideology, morality and lifestyle of cadres and Party members in conjunction with the fight against corruption, waste, and degradation in ideology, politics, morality and lifestyle.
Strictly and systematically implement the Party's regime, principles of organization and activities, focus on promoting democracy, self-criticism and criticism of Party members in activities; substantially and effectively implement Instruction No. 05-HD/BTCTU dated May 19, 2024 of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee "on the framework of criteria for building and implementing the model of four-good Party cells and four-good grassroots Party organizations in the Provincial Party Committee" and guiding documents of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc. At the same time, improve the quality of the staff; attach importance to the work of planning, training, fostering, and arranging leadership and management staff.
The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also requested the Department Party Committee to continue implementing Directive No. 35-CT/TW dated June 14, 2024 of the Politburo "on Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party" and related directive documents of the Provincial Party Committee and the Party Committee of the Bloc to well organize the congresses of affiliated Party cells, the 11th Congress of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Party Committee, term 2025-2030.
Along with that, continue to innovate and improve the quality of services of the Department's public service units; place orders at qualified units. Improve the operational efficiency of vocational training institutions, strengthen the connection between vocational training institutions and the labor market and businesses.
Regarding the proposal to invest in expanding the Provincial Child Care Facility for Children in Special Circumstances, he requested the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to develop a specific project, ensuring conditions for building a comprehensive care and education environment for children in special circumstances...
