Mr. Nguyen Van Ngoc - Vice Principal of Ha Tinh Vocational College said: The connection between schools and businesses is implemented in many different forms. The first is to provide students after training to businesses for recruitment; accordingly, students who are about to graduate, after graduation, businesses in need will come directly to the school to recruit. The second form is to coordinate with businesses to send students to practice and do real work. This creates opportunities for students to be retained by businesses if they meet professional requirements after practice and internship. The third form is to train workers according to the needs of businesses".

Connecting with businesses will help schools improve training quality, businesses have skilled human resources, and students will soon have jobs after graduation.

In fact, in recent times, many businesses have come directly to Ha Tinh Vocational College to organize recruitment sessions such as: Formosa Ha Tinh, MCC Vietnam and some other provincial units. Up to now, hundreds of students of the school have found jobs through the school's connection with businesses that come to recruit directly.

Regarding the connection for students to do internships at businesses, this is considered a solution to improve the training quality of Ha Tinh Vocational College. When doing internships at businesses, the professional working environment helps students to mature quickly, especially after the internship, many students have the opportunity to be recruited by businesses.

Formosa Ha Tinh leaders presented gifts to students of Ha Tinh Vocational College selected by the company for training (October 2022).

In particular, in October 2022, Ha Tinh Vocational College successfully signed a cooperation agreement with Formosa Ha Tinh on: when students enter year 2, Formosa Ha Tinh will select students with suitable professions and abilities for training. In addition to studying at the school, every week, Formosa will send experts to guide and support the school in training. By the end of year 2, students will be sent to the company for a 2-month internship and will be supported with all accommodation and food expenses, plus a support of 5 million/person/month. After graduation, students will be accepted into the company for work, without having to go through interviews and probationary periods. To date, 43 students have been selected for training by Formosa Ha Tinh.

In addition, businesses such as Ba Na hill - Da Nang, service and trade businesses in Vinh, Cua Lo... have all had close links with the school for many years to receive interns and recruit workers when needed.

Similarly, over the years, Ha Tinh College of Technology has continuously expanded its connections with businesses to create a foundation for students to practice and intern. Up to now, the school has closely connected with companies such as: Ba Na hill cable car, Lilama 18, Bao Anh Construction Investment Company Limited, Jaty Hai Phong Company Limited, Manh Toan Trading and Human Resources Development Joint Stock Company... In addition to practicing and interning in a suitable environment, many students also have the opportunity to be recruited by businesses after completing their internship and graduating.

Ha Tinh College of Technology signed a cooperation agreement with MV Foreign Language Center.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhan - Deputy Head of Training Department (Ha Tinh College of Technology) said: “One of the successes is that in 2020, the school signed an agreement with Vinfast Company of Vingroup Corporation to train human resources for 2 majors: mechatronics and automotive technology. There are 46 academies selected to train at the school for 15 months and at Vinfast factories for 15 months. In 2023, when they graduate, they will be signed a contract by the company and immediately hired with a salary ranging from 13 - 15 million VND/month. In addition, the school also signed an agreement with MV Foreign Language Center to train German for 2 high-quality college-level occupations: mechatronics and industrial electricity. After graduation, the center will support and introduce students to work in Germany".

It can be said that strengthening connections and cooperation with businesses is not only the direction of Ha Tinh Vocational College and Ha Tinh College of Technology, but is also an inevitable trend that is being promoted by other training institutions such as Vietnam - Germany Technical College, Ly Tu Trong Vocational College... Because this is a trend that helps schools improve training quality, students soon have job opportunities and businesses recruit quality human resources.

Internships at businesses will create conditions for students to improve their skills.

However, according to the sharing of training institutions, although it brings many benefits to schools, businesses and students, the connection between training institutions and businesses is mainly to create conditions for students to practice and intern, while cooperation to train students according to business orders is not much and not regular. Businesses are in great need of skilled labor, but the number of businesses willing to spend money to support students in training is not much.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thai - Head of the Department of Labor - Employment (Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs) said: "Enterprises in the province are mainly small and medium-sized, so the ordering of human resource training is very limited, because the cost of training a quality workforce is not small. Only a few large-scale enterprises with high labor demand such as Formosa, Vingroup... have coordinated and linked with vocational training facilities in the area. Therefore, in addition to efforts to promote and attract large enterprises to invest, schools must constantly improve the quality of training and be proactive in linking and connecting with enterprises outside the province to create job opportunities for students".
