The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council held the 26th meeting

On August 24, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, term XI, 2021-2026, held its 26th meeting. Comrades: Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Tran Minh Luc, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the meeting. Attending the meeting were comrade Phan Tan Canh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Council; representatives of the leaders of the Fatherland Front, provincial departments, branches and sectors.

At the meeting, delegates listened to the leaders of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council present: Plan to organize a vote of confidence for people holding positions elected by the People's Council, term 2021-2026; Plan for mid-term review of the 2020-2025 term of the Provincial People's Council Party Delegation; Plan to build a record of the Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Council, term XI, term 2021-2026; Regulations on classifying the activities of delegations and delegates of the Provincial People's Council, term XI, term 2021-2026; summarizing opinions and recommendations of voters after the 13th session of the Provincial People's Council. Accordingly, the subjects of the vote of confidence include: Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Head of the Provincial People's Council; Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Provincial People's Committee; No vote of confidence is taken for the above-mentioned people who have announced their resignation pending retirement or have been elected or appointed in the year of the vote of confidence. Time to take a vote of confidence at the regular meeting at the end of 2023 of the Provincial People's Council (expected to be held in early December 2023). Time to organize the mid-term review of the 2020-2025 term of the Provincial People's Council Party Delegation in September 2023, in the form of a conference. The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council decides to evaluate and classify the activities of the delegations and delegates of the Provincial People's Council before December 31 every year. The compilation of the Provincial People's Council's yearbook for the 11th term, 2021-2026 term aims to record images and some outstanding activities of the People's Council, the Standing Committee of the People's Council, the People's Council's committees, delegations and the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council from the beginning of the 2021-2026 term to the present. Time to release the yearbook at the mid-term review conference (December 2023, after the regular meeting at the end of 2023).

At the meeting, the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council also reported the results of consultation: List of construction planning projects, urban planning; Construction zoning planning project (scale 1/2000) of the An Hai high-tech aquaculture seed production area and the Son Hai high-tech shrimp broodstock production area; policy on handling renewable energy projects with land-grabbing behavior. The Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council reported the results of consultation on the implementation of the Sunbay Park Hotel & Resort Project.

Concluding the meeting, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council to receive and synthesize the opinions of the delegates; advise the Provincial People's Council Party Delegation to prepare a report to submit to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee for consideration and comments on the subjects of the vote of confidence; review and consider the necessity of issuing a resolution on classifying the activities of delegations and delegates of the Provincial People's Council, term XI, 2021-2026. Regarding the reports advised by the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council, he requested the competent authority to review and ensure conditions for adjusting planning in accordance with regulations, establishing a priority list for allocating investment sources; carefully review the criteria and requirements for building aquaculture and shrimp broodstock production areas to ensure suitability and compliance with regulations.
