Standing Committee of Provincial People's Council surveyed tourism service activities in Vinh Hy Bay, Ninh Hai

On May 13, Comrade Tran Minh Luc, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, as Head of the delegation, conducted a survey on the situation of tourism business activities in Vinh Hy Bay, Vinh Hai Commune, Ninh Hai District. Attending the meeting were Comrade Phan Tan Canh, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Ninh Hai District Party Committee; Provincial People's Council Committees and leaders of relevant departments, branches and localities.

According to the report, from 2021 to present, Vinh Hai commune has nearly 31 accommodation establishments, of which Vinh Hy village has 21, My Hoa has 8, Thai An has 2. Regarding sightseeing transportation services, Vinh Hy village currently has 25 glass-bottom boats, 25 canoes, 2 inland waterway wharves. Regarding food services, the whole commune currently has 20 food establishments to ensure serving the needs of tourists. In Vinh Hy bay area, there are currently 5 beaches including: Ba Dien, Cau beach, Coc Trong beach, Coc Ngoai beach and Rang beach. From 2021 to present, there are about 350,000 visitors coming to visit, an increase of 50,000 visitors compared to the period 2015 - 2020.

Speaking at the survey, Mr. Tran Minh Luc, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, acknowledged the achievements in tourism service business activities in Vinh Hy Bay in recent times, and at the same time suggested that in the coming time, the locality should focus on innovating the way of identifying and thinking about tourism development; continue to implement the Vinh Hy cultural tourism village project for the period of 2022 - 2025, with a vision to 2030, associated with building the Cau Gay - Da Hang community tourism model. Continue to increase investment in developing the system of facilities and technical infrastructure of the tourism industry; promote training and fostering of human resources for tourism; continue to innovate and improve the quality of tourism promotion and advertising activities, especially focusing on the application of digital technology in promotion activities. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council also suggested that the locality effectively implement the handling of floating rafts operating in violation of regulations in Vinh Hy Bay; Proactively advise the Provincial People's Committee on solutions to ensure tourism activities at Bai Kinh; strengthen inspection and supervision of tourism activities, inland waterway vehicles, environmental sanitation, security and order; prevent and promptly detect violations that affect the safety and property of tourists when visiting and experiencing tourism in the locality.
