Prime Minister approves Chairman of Kien Giang province

(NLDO) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed Decisions approving the election results and dismissal of the positions of Chairman of the People's Committee of Kien Giang and Ha Giang provinces.

In Decision No. 21 dated January 3, 2025, the Prime Minister approved the results of the dismissal of Mr. Lam Minh Thanh from the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Kien Giang province for the 2021-2026 term to take on a new assignment.

At the same time, in Decision No. 26 dated January 3, 2025, the Prime Minister approved the election results for the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Kien Giang province for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan, Deputy Secretary of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Kien Giang province for the 2021-2026 term.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan was born in 1977; hometown Tan Hiep district, Kien Giang province. He has a PhD in agricultural economics; Senior in politics. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan has held the positions of: Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tien city; Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Kien Giang province.

In Decision No. 25 dated January 3, 2025, the Prime Minister approved the election results for the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Giang province for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Phan Huy Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Ha Giang Provincial Police.

Mr. Phan Huy Ngoc was born in 1972; hometown is Nghia Hung commune, Vinh Tuong district, Vinh Phuc province. He has a PhD in Law, Bachelor of Economics, Bachelor of English Pedagogy; Senior in political theory.

Mr. Phan Huy Ngoc has held positions such as: Chief of Phu Tho Town Police (Phu Tho Province); Deputy Director of Phu Tho Provincial Police; Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Party Secretary, Director of Ha Giang Provincial Police; Deputy Secretary of Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee.
