Although it is a holiday, many machines, equipment, engineers, workers and laborers have been mobilized to carry out the construction in "3 shifts", ensuring the progress of completing the contract package with a length of 9.5 km before June 30, 2023 as committed.

Inspecting the construction site of the National Highway 45 - Nghi Son component project with a length of more than 43 km, passing through Nong Cong district and Nghi Son town, the Prime Minister emphasized that after the Government issued Resolutions No. 60 and 133, difficulties and obstacles regarding the source of filling materials for the project have been resolved.
Therefore, the investor needs to direct contractors to arrange sufficient forces and means to speed up construction progress, striving to complete before September 2, 2023.

Regarding the issue of handling weak soil along a 12 km stretch through Nong Cong district, the Prime Minister requested that consultants and contractors urgently research solutions and apply new science and technology to handle the problem, ensuring both technical quality and not affecting the overall progress of the project.

The Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Transport to study a plan to reasonably arrange rest stops on the North-South Expressway when the route is put into use; Thanh Hoa province to allocate resources to invest in connecting axes in the East-West direction between the North-South Expressway with National Highway 1A, Ho Chi Minh Road and the coastal road to best promote the efficiency of the routes, opening up development space for the locality.
