Enthusiastic about Youth Union work
As Secretary of the Youth Union, Mr. Ho Van Dung always learns and promptly grasps the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State, resolutions and plans of the higher-level Youth Union, emulation movements in production and business, etc., thereby promptly propagating and mobilizing union members, youth and people in the village to seriously and effectively implement them. A Bung village, A Bung commune has 100% ethnic minorities living. This is an area with many difficulties, most of the households are poor and near-poor. In order for the Youth Union to operate effectively, Ho Van Dung has actively mobilized union members and young people to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle through specific and practical actions. Wanting to gain the trust of the members, in the activities of the Youth Union, Mr. Ho Van Dung is always aware of promoting the role, pioneering, exemplary, and proactive nature of a leader of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, thereby leaving many impressions on the members of the Youth Union in A Bung village about his dynamism and enthusiasm for the work of the Youth Union.
In each Youth Union meeting, he always brings up topics for discussion and finds practical solutions such as brocade weaving, knitting, folk songs, folk dances, traditional musical instruments, thereby creating a lively atmosphere to attract members to participate, contributing to preserving the good values of traditional culture of the nation. In addition, in the meetings, topics on early marriage and incestuous marriage are also brought up to educate members.
Together with the Executive Committee of the Youth Union, Ho Van Dung regularly grasps the thoughts and aspirations, listens to the opinions and suggestions of the members, and from there proposes appropriate forms of activities to help the members connect with the Youth Union.
Good business example
In life, the young Pa Ko man Ho Van Dung is also an example of a good businessman with an income of hundreds of millions of VND/year from raising goats and planting forests. Ho Van Dung shared that, realizing that the conditions for economic development and self-employment of young people in A Bung village were still limited, he boldly took the lead in opening a way out of poverty.
Accordingly, grasping the policy of encouraging the development of forest plantation economy, from preferential loans through the youth union channel, he reclaimed and planted 3 hectares of cajuput forest; planted more corn and cassava; built high barns, invested in raising a herd of nearly 10 goats. With diligence and hard work, in the past 2 years, Ho Van Dung's family's economic model has brought in a good income, reaching more than 100 million VND/year.
Not only knowing how to enrich himself, Ho Van Dung often shares his experiences with union members, youth and villagers. Thanks to that, many young people in the village also learn from him to invest in production to bring in stable income and escape poverty sustainably.
The actions stemming from the sentiments and exemplary responsibility of the union leader, Ho Van Dung, have motivated many union members and young people here to learn and follow, thereby promoting the movement of young people helping each other overcome difficulties, rise up to eliminate hunger, reduce poverty, and become rich legitimately.
Mr. Ho Van Ngau, Secretary of the Youth Union of A Bung commune commented: “Mr. Dung is someone who always knows how to create a united and friendly environment to gather young people to participate in activities and emulation movements. Therefore, the youth movement in A Bung village always takes the lead, motivating young people in other villages to respond and follow, thereby contributing significantly to the economic development of the locality.”
