Thus, candidates born in 2008 will "finish" with Math, the subject with a coefficient of 2 and will decide the final results of the entrance exam to grade 10 public schools in Hanoi for the 2023-2024 school year.
With two fairly easy exams in literature and English yesterday, June 10, many candidates expressed their hope to receive an "easy" math exam today.
According to the announcement from the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, the number of candidates registered to take the exam in the whole city is 115,651. However, there were 594 candidates absent from the literature exam on the morning of June 10 and 609 candidates absent from the foreign language exam on the afternoon of June 10.
Thus, the actual number of candidates participating in the math exam was only 115,042.
This year, Hanoi has reserved nearly 72,000 quotas for public grade 10. Of which, the quota for the non-specialized system is 69,805. The competition ratio for the non-specialized system is 1/1.5.
It is expected that by July 4 at the latest, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will announce the exam scores.
The exam score is calculated based on the formula: Literature score x 2 + Math score x 2 + Foreign language. In the 2022 exam, Chu Van An High School leads the benchmark score with 43.25. Next are the schools: Yen Hoa High School (42.25), Phan Dinh Phung High School (42), Nguyen Gia Thieu High School (41.75), Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School (41.75)...
