Welcoming the representatives of foreign tourism representative offices in Vietnam, Deputy Director Ha Van Sieu said that the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and sense of responsibility of the representative offices in the past time. The representative offices always promptly informed the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism about changes related to personnel and operations. The Deputy Director hoped that the representative offices would continue to cooperate more closely and actively with the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism to promote and strengthen the partnership and achieve better results in the future.

“As a state management agency responsible for supervising the activities of foreign tourism representative offices in Vietnam, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism hopes that the representative offices will proactively meet, update information, propose ideas and recommend solutions to overcome difficulties and obstacles in the process of operating in Vietnam,” Deputy Director Ha Van Sieu suggested.
According to the report from the Department of International Relations and Tourism Promotion (Vietnam National Administration of Tourism), there are currently 05 foreign tourism representative offices in Vietnam, including: Representative offices of the Korea Tourism Organization, Japan Tourism Promotion Agency and the Russian Federation Tourism Administration headquartered in Hanoi ; Representative offices of the Singapore Tourism Agency and the Thailand Tourism Agency headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City.
The main activities of the Representative Offices are to organize and participate in international tourism fairs, cultural festivals and promotional events in Vietnam; Implement tourism promotion campaigns through media, social networks and cooperate with Vietnamese press agencies; Organize tourism introduction programs (roadshows), B2B seminars, and thematic seminars; Organize survey trips (famtrips) for travel companies, media representatives and Vietnamese KOLs; Build partnerships between foreign and Vietnamese tourism businesses; and Conduct market research and produce promotional materials in Vietnamese.

In recent years, foreign tourism representative offices have actively contributed to strengthening tourism cooperation between Vietnam and related countries. At the same time, they have supported increasing the number of Vietnamese tourists going abroad and established a close cooperation network with relevant parties in the Vietnamese tourism industry.
The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism recommends that in the coming time, foreign tourism representative offices in Vietnam continue to strengthen cooperation with the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, report regularly and fully, especially regarding operational plans, personnel changes, and promotion programs. Strictly comply with Vietnamese laws in promotion activities and office establishment.

Sharing activities and plans for the coming time, the Representative Office of the Russian Federation Tourism Administration in Vietnam said that the Government of the Russian Federation is making efforts to connect direct flights to some destinations in Vietnam such as Phu Quoc, Da Nang ... The number of Russian tourists to Vietnam is increasing again, this is a good sign. At the same time, it is suggested to continue promoting the number of Vietnamese tourists to Russia in the coming time.

According to the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Thailand hopes to attract more tourists during the Songkran Festival, the biggest festival of the year. TAT also plans to promote cooperation and organize more festival events to attract international tourists in the coming time.
The representative office of the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) said that this year, Korea plans to actively participate in Vietnam's tourism events such as VITM Hanoi and ITE HCMC in Ho Chi Minh City, thereby promoting meetings and cooperation with businesses in the tourism industry.
The representative office of the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) said that in recent times, the office has coordinated with relevant agencies to organize Famtrips and annual meetings between businesses and B2C customers in Hanoi and Da Nang. Japan hopes to welcome more Vietnamese tourists in the future. At the same time, it expressed its willingness to attend events organized by Vietnam.
The representative office of the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) said that Singapore is focusing on promoting cooperation with Vietnamese airlines such as Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet Air, etc. to bring tourists from both countries to travel and explore. Singaporeans love Vietnam's sea and island tourism, especially Phu Quoc, so Singapore is planning to connect direct flights from Singapore to Phu Quoc in the future.
Speaking at the end of the meeting, Deputy Director Ha Van Sieu respectfully acknowledged the contributions of foreign tourism representative offices in Vietnam, saying that the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism will consider the proposals at this meeting to continue to innovate, improve and enhance the effectiveness of management and supervision of the activities of foreign tourism representative offices in Vietnam. Deputy Director Ha Van Sieu believes that, with enhanced close cooperation, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and the representative offices will achieve better results in promoting tourism cooperation and people-to-people exchange between Vietnam and other countries and territories, fulfilling the goal of welcoming international visitors by 2025.
Deputy Director Ha Van Sieu hopes that in the coming time, the Vietnam National Tourism Administration will continue to receive close coordination from representative offices in promoting tourism, promoting visitor exchanges, and supporting two-way tourists. "We believe that joint efforts in marketing, improving services, and coordinating policies will bring practical benefits to all parties," Deputy Director Ha Van Sieu expressed.
