What should candidates pay attention to when taking the 2024 high school graduation exam?

Circular No. 02/2024/TT-BGDDT amends and supplements a number of articles of the current Regulations on High School Graduation Exams, which stipulates that candidates must comply with regulations in the examination room.

Things to note when taking the 2024 high school graduation exam.

It is forbidden to bring into the exam room communication equipment (receiving, broadcasting information, recording audio, video)...

Specifically, candidates must comply with the following regulations in the examination room:

+ Show your exam card to the invigilator; sit in the correct seat with your registration number written on it.

+ To serve the exam process, candidates are allowed to bring into the exam room the following: Pens; rulers; pencils; erasers; squares; graphing rulers; drawing tools; handheld calculators without text editing function and without memory cards; Vietnam Geography Atlas compiled according to the 2006 General Education Program (without markings or writing any other content).

Prohibited from bringing into the exam room: Carbon paper, erasers, alcoholic beverages; weapons and explosives, flammable substances; documents, communication equipment (receiving, broadcasting information, recording audio, video) or containing information to cheat during the exam.

Write in one color only (no red ink)

+ Before taking the exam, candidates must fill in their registration number and information on the exam paper, exam paper, TLTN card, and scratch paper. When receiving the exam paper, they must carefully check the number of pages and the quality of the printed pages; if they discover that the exam paper is missing pages or is torn, damaged, smudged, or faded, they must immediately report to the exam committee in the exam room, no later than 05 (five) minutes from the time the exam starts.

+ During the time in the examination room, you must maintain order; immediately report to the invigilator when someone else copies your test or intentionally interferes with your test; do not exchange, discuss, copy other people's test, let others copy, use documents against the regulations to do the test or have any fraudulent gestures or actions; if you want to give your opinion, you must raise your hand to ask the invigilator for permission; after being allowed, you stand up and present your opinion publicly. You are not allowed to mark or make your own symbols, you are not allowed to write in pencil, except to fill in the boxes on the TLTN Form; you are only allowed to write in one color of ink (red ink is not allowed).

Do not leave the exam room until the test time is over.

+ Candidates are not allowed to leave the examination room until the end of the multiple-choice test; for essay tests, candidates may leave the examination room and examination area after 2/3 of the examination time has passed, and must submit their examination papers, test papers, and scratch paper before leaving the examination room. In case of necessity, candidates may only leave the examination room with permission from the invigilator and must be supervised by the invigilator. Candidates leaving the examination room and examination area in case of emergency must be supervised by the police and invigilator until the end of the examination time and will be decided by the Head of the Examination Site.

+ When the test time is over, you must stop working immediately and keep the test paper intact. When submitting the essay test, you must clearly state the number of test papers submitted and sign the Test Receipt Form; candidates who cannot complete the test must also submit the test paper (for essay tests) and the TLTN Form (for multiple-choice tests).
